SUMMARY: The person in this role is responsible for the people and all business aspects of resource planning for serial production for three shifts. Four direct reports & up to sixty indirect reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university with a technical focus, or two plus years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience highly preferred.
- Experience; leading people in high volume manufacturing environment, Tier 2 or 3 automotive.
- Computer skills required: Business Management Systems; Power BI; Microsoft Office Suite.
- Other skills required: Must have good understanding and working knowledge of manufacturing processes and workflow, Lean and TS16949 certification requirements.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, manage and coordinate activities in production with regard to maximum productivity while keeping Quality Standards and reducing scrap and inefficiencies.
- Plans the production to logistics requirements using internal systems.
- Manage and organize shifts, personnel, schedules, training, projects, production activities etc.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Collaborate with maintenance support all maintenance activities, spare parts and resources.
- Collaborate with the QM to solve quality issues, maintain QS compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Take corrective action when appropriate.
- Periodically communicate with customers and suppliers.
- Drive care of assigned equipment, tools and material to avoid damage, loss or other harm to
- Drive quality of manufactured products, including continuous quality control of production.
- Drive compliance with5S at the workplace and Safety.
- In case of detection of nonconforming products stop the production, process and take appropriate measures.

Are you a safe, experienced lift driver (sit down & standup reach truck) and have working knowledge of all warehouse functions?
Our warehouse personnel perform all shipping/receiving functions however, this position will concentrate on Supply of materials to Production, use RF Scanner, ensure accurate material movements, and ensure production is supported. Required skills: Lift license, RF scanner, computer, good math, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, ability to work overtime (coverage may be required during week or on weekend).
Qualifications: Experience driving sit-down and stand-up reach truck with excellent safety record; must exercise excellent attention to detail.
